My mom used to get recipes in the mail & there was a apple cake recipe & now I can't find it. Where do I look?

It was a long time ago and it used to go into a long plastic box. She no longer has the box and I can't find the recipe card anywhere. Now I am not sure where to look for it. I would know it if I saw it. I know it does not have applesauce or walnuts or apple filling. My mom used to get recipes in the mail %26amp; there was a apple cake recipe %26amp; now I can't find it. I am baking an apple cake this very moment. Here is my recipe. I use the recipe and add 1/2 more ingredients to it. Bake it at 350 degrees F for 1 hour in a 9 x 13 cake pan

Apple Cake

2 eggs

2 tsp baking powder

1 cup sugar

录 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

3-4 apples peeled and sliced

1陆 cups flour

陆 cup oil

录 cup orange juice

录 cup white sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

Peel and slice apples into a bowl

Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla in another bowl. Mix oil and orange juice together in a measuring cup. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture alternately with oil and orange juice.

Beat slowly until smooth. Add apple slices to mixed batter and gently stir all together.

Pour mixed batter into greased and floured baking dish.

In a small cup mix sugar and cinnamon for the topping and spoon over apple cake batter before baking.

Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 45 minutes until an even golden brown. Do not remove early or cake may be too moist in center.
