Any cake frosting recipes that don't involve powdered sugar?

Chocolate Fluff Frosting


1 pkg (4-serving size) chocolate or chocolate-fudge pudding mix (not


instant)


1-1/3 cups milk


1 Tbs. butter


1 tsp. vanilla, divided


1 envelope whipped topping mix


1/2 cup very cold milk





Combine pudding and 1-1/3 cups milk in saucepan. Cook as directed on


pkg. Remove from heat. Add butter and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Cover surface


with waxed paper and refrigerate until completely chilled, about 2


hours. Prepare topping mix with 1/2 cup milk and remaining vanilla as


directed on pkg. Blend into chilled pudding.





NOTES : Makes about 3 cups, enough to fill and frost a 9'; layer or


angel cake. Refrigerate cake until ready to serve. Store any


remaining cake, covered, in refrigerator.











Yummy Fudge Frosting


1 can sweetened condensed milk


12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips





Cook in the top of a double boiler over boiling water until melted and smooth














SEAFOAM ICING


Yield: 6 Servings





1/4 c Egg whites


1 1/2 c Light brown sugar, packed


1 tb Light corn syrup


1/3 c Water


1 ts Vanilla extract





In top of double boiler, combine egg whites,light-brown sugar, light


corn syrup and water. With an electric rotary beater, beat 1 minute


to combine. Cook over rapidly boiling water, beating constantly,


about 7 minutes, or ntil stiff peaks form when beater is slowly


raised. Remove from boiling water. Add vanilla extract; then continue


beating until the frosting is thick enough to spread-about 2 minutes.











Swirl Frosting


1/2 cup granulated sugar


2 egg whites


2 tablespoons water


1 (7 ounce) jar Marshmallow Cr猫me


1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract





Combine sugar, egg whites and water in a double boiler. Beat with a hand-held electric mixer over boiling water until soft peaks form. Add Marshmallow Creme. Continue beating until stiff peaks form. Remove from heat and beat in vanilla extract.





Chocolate Swirl Frosting


Melt and cool 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate. Fold into Swirl Frosting











7-Minute Frosting


2 egg whites


1 cup granulated sugar


1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar


1/8 teaspoon salt


1/4 cup water


1 cup Marshmallow Cr猫me


1 teaspoon vanilla extract





Combine all ingredients except vanilla extract in the top of a double boiler. Place over boiling water. Beat until soft peaks form. Remove from heat and beat until stiff. Beat in vanilla extract.Any cake frosting recipes that don't involve powdered sugar?
7 MINUTE FROSTING


2 UNBEATEN EGG WHITES


1 陆 CUPS SUGAR


录 TSP CREAM TARTAR


1/3 CUP COLD WATER


DASH SALT


1 TSP VANILLA


IN DOUBLE BOILER, COMBINE EGG WHITES, SUGAR, CREAM OF TARTAR, WATER, SALT. BEAT TO COMBINE AND THEN PLACE OVER FIRE, TAKING CARE THAT DOUBLE BOILER DOES NOT TOUCH THE WATER IN THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE BOILER. SET TIMER FOR SEVEN MINUTES AND BEAT ON HIGH WHILE KEEPING FROSTING OVER BOILING DOUBLE BOILER. HEAT ONLY SEVEN MINUTES. REMOVE FROM HEAT, CONTINUING TO BEAT WITH ELECTRIC BEATER UNTIL STIFF PEAKS BEGIN TO FORM. ADD VANILLA, CONTINUE BEATING UNTIL FROSTING IS DESIRED CONSISTENCY.Any cake frosting recipes that don't involve powdered sugar?
Whipped Cream Frosting


(Was my mother's recipe...mine now...ummm goood)





COOK UNTIL THICK:


1 cup milk


4 TBLS. Flour


set aside to cool





BEAT:


Together鈥?3 minutes


陆 cup margarine


陆 cup shortening (Crisco鈥OT cooking oil)





ADD:


1 cup sugar


(1/4 cup at a time, beat thorouhly)


1 tsp. Vanilla





ADD :


Gradually add flour %26amp; milk mixture





BEAT:


Until the consistency of


Whipped Cream





Or try this:





TOPPING:


8OZ. CONTAINER Cool Whip


1 small pkg. instant Jell-o pudding





Mix pudding, as directed and let stand 15 minutes until thick. Blend in Cool Whip spread over cake.

YOU CAN TAKE STORE BOUGHT FROSTING SLOWLY HEAT IT TILL IT TURNS TO LIQUID THEN POOR IT OVER THE CAKE ITS GOOD ESP. ON A CAKE LIKE A POUND CAKE
I know one but its a secret family recipe. Sorry :)





My recipe is so much yummier than all of those. I really wish I could share it with you.
