My family goes nuts over my 'Lemonade Cake'
(my sister wanted it for her birthday in November!)
I use...
1 lemon cake mix
1 can frozen lemade mix (i only use about 2/3 of it)
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
prepare and bake the cake per box instructions.
let it cool.
thaw the lemonade and add powdered sugar. wisk it to get rid of the little clumps.
when the cake is cooled, use a flavor injector to poke holes in the top of the cake and inject the lemonade. If you don't have a flavor injector just use a toothpick to make the holes and slowly pour the lemonade mix over the top of the cake. allow it to seap into the cake. then repeat. about 50 holes or ever 3/4 inch.
refridgerate before you frost it. I use a white whipped frosting and add yellow sprinkles. You can also bake as cupcakes!
